Elise Rocks has a diverse background as an appraiser, project manager and consultant with Worsley Real Estate Company.  As a founding member of the Cape Fear Green Building Alliance, Elise has a long standing commitment to sustainable development. Analytical expertise and practical experience makes her uniquely qualified to assist with your real estate needs.

Elise is an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute and member of the Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors. 

As Project Manager for Preservation Park, she received the Lower Cape Fear Stewardship Development Award, City of Wilmington Tree Preservation Award and was featured in Southern Living Magazine in 2009.

Elise is the current President of Cape Fear River Watch, on the Vestry at Church of the Good Shepherd and has served on the Board of Directors of Wilmington Downtown Inc. and Tidal Creek Cooperative Market. She was the founding Chair of the Cape Fear Green Building Alliance and the Cape Fear Economic Development Council.

The whole ship goes by and then comes the rudder. There's a tiny thing at the edge of the rudder called a trim tab.  It's a miniature rudder.

Just moving the little trim tab builds a low pressure that pulls the rudder around. Takes almost no effort at all.

So I said that the little individual can be a trim tab. Society thinks it's going right by you, that it's left you altogether.

But if you're doing dynamic things mentally, the fact is that you can just put your foot out like that and the whole big ship of state is going to go.
